Originally from Ohio, Alex brings a little Midwestern charm to everything she does. After a whirlwind couple of years planning weddings in Washington, D.C., she traded monuments for mountains and launched Willow & Ivy Events in Seattle in 2016. These days, she’s all about creating unforgettable celebrations not only in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, but all across the world.

Alex’s design style is inspired by fresh florals, bold colors, playful patterns, and anything with a little sparkle. She believes weddings should feel personal, joyful, and just a little magical.

When she’s not orchestrating love stories, you’ll find her training for her next race, lost in a good book, or exploring new restaurants. She’s also a big fan of globe-trotting adventures and cozy nights in with her husband, baby Hamilton, and their Maltipoo, Kip.
